Fresh, Organically-grown*, Delicious.

Here at Breyer Patch Farm, we work with a lush crop of carefully chosen blueberry and blackberry plants sourced from the finest nurseries in New Jersey and Tennessee. Our plants and property are pesticide-free, and the entire property is irrigated from our well to provide mineral-rich water to every growing plant.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We are open Monday through Thursday, 7AM - 1PM for “Pick-Your-Own”.

  • Blueberries are ripe around the last week of May until about the last week of July. The weather dictates our season greatly, so refer to our social media for week-by-week updates!

  • Blackberries are typically ripe between the 3rd and 4th week of June. This depends entirely on the weather patterns, so please refer to our social media for updates!

  • If you’re at the farm for “Pick-Your-Own” blueberries or blackberries, the cost is $5 per pound.

If you’re at Depot Street Farmer’s Market purchasing already picked blueberries or blackberries on Saturday mornings, the cost is $7 per pint.

  • This year we may have:

    • Sourdough products

    • Blueberry jam

    • Raw honey*

    • Bottled waters for free

    • LMNT electrolytes for sale

We may add items as we determine the needs of our customers throughout the year, so expect inventory to fluctuate based on product availability.

*Raw honey is from our very own bees on the property, but we are just about out! We will harvest again in July and should have a fresh supply by the first week of that month.

  • Yes! This year we have rented a portable toilet that will be available during our “Pick-Your-Own” hours.

  • No! This year we are open Monday-Thursday, 7AM-1PM on a first-come-first-serve basis for anyone and everyone who is able to come within that time frame.

  • While we are not a certified organic farm, we only use organic and regenerative practices. If you have questions about specifics, we’d love to chat! Send us an email or ask us when you visit.

  • We recommend bringing a sturdy tupperware you’d like to fill with your berries after they are weighed so you can transport them safely home. We also encourage closed-toed shoes and breathable clothing as our orchard is on a sunny hillside.

  • If we have enough berries for our daytime customers, Depot Street Farmer’s Market customers, AND our family, we will consider spontaneously opening when our schedule and berry production allows.

However, in years prior, we have sold out of berries every Saturday at farmer’s market and had our bushes happily picked clean by daily customers and family, so this may be a slim possibility.

BOTTOM LINE: We are a cozy, little farm with no aspirations to become a commercial grower, so while we aim to meet the needs of our Greeneville community, we are only able to do so at a pace that is sustainable for our family.

  • Parking is in the grass at the bottom of the driveway, to the right of the portable toilet, beneath the stretch of trees that line Stills Road.

Turn into the paved driveway from the road, then take an immediate left onto the gravel to park on the grass.

  • We love animals, we have a few of our own! But sadly no, we cannot have animals of any kind brought on our property.

**Our own doggo will remain indoors or with one of us outside the orchard while the farm is open so she will not be available for scritches or belly rubs, though she might give you a friendly bark to say ‘hello’ from a distance!
